Penalties apply BWF Badminton Players Thailand

Badminton world federation (BWF) sentence suspended for two Thai players due to fight in the arena Canadian GP last month.

The two players, Issaea Bodin and Maneepong Jongjit, got into a fight after another provocation during the men's doubles final at the Canadian GP.

Bodin Issara was sentenced to two-year suspension, while Maneepong Jongjit was sentenced to three months. Though Bodin Issara and formerly the strongest doubles Thailand.

Video evidence showing Bodin Issdara pursue Maneepong and then menjatuhkannnya in the field. At that time, has been paired with Nipitphon Maneepong Puangpuapech, while Bodin paired with Pakkawat Vilailak. Bodin then seen several times before hitting his former partner separated.

In a written statement, the BWF said that this decision was taken because both are involved in the dispute at Canada Open GP. "This decision is effective from the date of the incident on July 21 last," BWF statement said.

Previously, both players also have got a penalty from Thailand badminton federation. Both of these players have the opportunity to appeal within 21 days.
